🧶 Tuft It Today Rug Making Class

Create your own custom rug from start to finish in this 3.5-hour guided class at our Chicago studio.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of rug tufting and leave with a 22” rug you designed yourself—ready to hang or use at home.

✨ What You’ll Learn & Do

In this class, you’ll:

• Learn the fundamentals of machine tufting, including techniques, troubleshooting, and pro tips
• Transfer your design using a projector
• Practice before starting your final piece
• Receive hands-on guidance, troubleshooting support, and one-on-one feedback throughout the process
• Work with professional-grade tools and high-quality materials, giving your rug a more polished and durable result
• Complete and finish your rug during class
• No experience needed—this class is beginner-friendly.

🕒 Class Times

Afternoon Class
Check-in: 11:45 AM · Begins: 12:00 PM

Evening Class
 Check-in: 5:45 PM · Begins: 6:00 PM

🧶 Before Your Class

• Upload your image ahead of time
• Choose a simple, bold design for best results
• Plan to arrive 15 minutes early

For best results:

• Avoid text, fine details, and gradients
• Stick to 4–5 colors or fewer

Quick Finish (Included)
Take your rug home the same day—ideal for decorative use.

Studio Pro Finish (Upgrade)
A more durable, professionally finished rug with added weight and longevity.
 Processing time: approximately 2–6 weeks.

👨👩👧 Age & Participation

We recommend this class for participants with the maturity to safely handle tools and equipment.

• Ages 12+ require a ticket
• Younger participants must be accompanied by an adult
• Tools include sharp and motorized equipment

❓ Booking Notes

• Each seat = one participant
• Ticket options reflect finish choices, not additional seats
• Be sure to transfer guest tickets after booking

📋 CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICY

Because each workshop has very limited seating and is often fully booked, all bookings are final sale and non-refundable.
By booking, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

🧶 Rescheduling (One-Time Courtesy)

• Must be requested at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled workshop
• A 50% rescheduling fee applies
• Rescheduled bookings must be used within 60 days of the original workshop date
• Only one reschedule is permitted per booking
• The rescheduling fee must be paid at the time of rebooking

🔁 Ticket Transfers

• Tickets may be transferred to another guest
• You must provide the new guest’s name, email address, and phone number in advance
• Transfers must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled workshop
• The new guest is bound by all workshop policies
• Tuft Stuff, LLC is not responsible for coordinating transfers between guests

⏰ Late Arrivals & No-Shows

• Guests are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to check in and be ready to begin
• Workshops begin promptly — late arrivals cannot be accommodated once instruction has started
• Arrival after the scheduled start time is considered a missed session

If you miss your session or arrive late:

• Your ticket is forfeited

No reschedule, credit, or refund will be issued
