WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By participating in a rug tufting workshop (the “Activity”), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, property damage, or death.

You hereby waive, release, and discharge Tuft Stuff, LLC, located at 1746 W North Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60622, including its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates (collectively, the “Releasees”), from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising out of your participation.

You agree to follow all safety instructions and acknowledge that Tuft Stuff, LLC reserves the right to refuse participation for safety or behavioral concerns.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your participation.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. If any portion is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.

By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge that this is a legally binding release of liability.

PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE

By participating, you grant Tuft Stuff, LLC permission to photograph and record you during workshops and to use this content for promotional purposes, including social media, marketing materials, and website content, without compensation.

This consent remains in effect unless revoked in writing.

CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICY

Because each workshop has very limited seating and is often fully booked, all bookings are final sale and non-refundable.
By booking, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

🧶 Rescheduling (One-Time Courtesy)

• Must be requested at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled workshop
• A 50% rescheduling fee applies
• Rescheduled bookings must be used within 60 days of the original workshop date
• Only one reschedule is permitted per booking
• The rescheduling fee must be paid at the time of rebooking

🔁 Ticket Transfers

• Tickets may be transferred to another guest
• You must provide the new guest’s name, email address, and phone number in advance
• Transfers must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled workshop
• The new guest is bound by all workshop policies
• Tuft Stuff, LLC is not responsible for coordinating transfers between guests

⏰ Late Arrivals & No-Shows

• Guests are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to check in and be ready to begin
• Workshops begin promptly — late arrivals cannot be accommodated once instruction has started
• Arrival after the scheduled start time is considered a missed session

If you miss your session or arrive late:

• Your ticket is forfeited

No reschedule, credit, or refund will be issued

ADDITIONAL TERMS

Right to Refuse Service

Tuft Stuff, LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who:

• violates policies
• behaves disruptively
• poses safety concerns
• is under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Studio Services

Additional services (such as finishing) may require extended processing time. All timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.

Chargebacks & Disputes

All policies are clearly disclosed prior to booking and agreed to at checkout.

By completing your purchase, you agree to contact Tuft Stuff, LLC directly to resolve any issues prior to initiating a chargeback.

Chargebacks filed in violation of these agreed-upon terms will be disputed with supporting documentation, including proof of purchase, policy acceptance, and prior communications.
