4 Week Rug Tufting Bootcamp Wednesdays in June

This is a weekly 4 day 3-4 hour class (offered twice a week)

This class runs Wednesdays, June 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th from 6:00-9:00 PM.

You’ll learn the basics of rug tufting and create an 36 inch rug to take home to hang or admire from above.

Participants will:

• Select an image of their choice to send the studio
• Receive an overview of the projection transfer process
• Begin to transfer to their selected image to the fabric
• Receive 1 on 1 global and individual feedback and hands on help
• Receive an overview of machine tufting and techniques
• Begin tufting practice and then working on their rugs
• Receive 1 on 1 global and individual feedback and hands on help
• Receive an overview of finishing for wall-hanging or floor rug
• Back and finish their rug
• Receive an overview of detail hand carving and leveling
• Hand carve and level rug pile
• Leave with an experience and a pro-finished 36” rug
